Support Establishment and Strengthening Wildlife Conservancies

We support the creation and strengthening of conservancies. We do this by providing seed funding to facilitate the registration of appropriate legal entities, community engagement and setting up governance structures to ready the new conservancies for investment. Further, in relevant cases, we provide bridge financing to pay lease fees to the landowners as we support the young entities to develop sustainability mechanisms.

Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy Capacity-Building

Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy is an expansive wildlife-rich area management the community runs. We are supporting the Conservancy in enhancing its capacity by investing in its facilities and supporting operational expenses. Notable investment areas include communication equipment, supporting power equipment, and improving access to water. We have also supported the Conservancy in acquiring the necessary tools and equipment to facilitate ranger patrols, thereby boosting security.

Other Implementing Partners

We have supported Nyekweri Kimintet, Oloisukut Conservancy and the Pardamat Conservation Area. Additionally, we are supporting the establishment of the Mara Isinya Conservancy.
